Job Opportunity (Ottawa, ON) – Director of Operations

The Council of Canadians is currently seeking a Director of Operations to lead and manage the financial, operational, governance, and human resources of the organization. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Ottawa.

The Director of Operations advances the Council’s organization and operational growth. They supervise the Council’s finance and bookkeeping, office coordination, human resources, board operations, and on-premises technology needs. The Director drafts yearly operational plans and budgets, represents the Council in union discussions, and helps create policies and procedures alongside other Directors. This role manages special projects, training and education, and monitors external sectoral trends.
