As the Science and Adaptation Specialist with CLIMAtlantic, you will be part of a team that works across Atlantic Canada to support Atlantic Canadian in incorporating data and projections into decision-making. You will be responsible for working with a variety of stakeholders to help them access, understand, and use context-appropriate climate data and projections. You will support the CLIMAtlantic team, which includes climate adaptation specialists located in the four provinces, in advancing the use of climate data and projections in decision-making, lead projects that provide broad data and projection services to Atlantic Canadians, and liaise and work with the Canadian Centre for Climate Services to ensure Atlantic Canadians have access to appropriate data and projections. CLIMAtlantic was established with the support of the four Atlantic Provinces and the Government of Canada to better deliver climate change adaptation services in the region.
