Our Parks & Environment Department is seeking three (3) Assistant Enforcement Officers who will assist Officers with monitoring and enforcement of compliance with air quality permits, solid waste licences, liquid waste permits and sector-specific regulations; responding to air quality complaints by conducting odour surveys, inspecting facilities, and collecting evidence; ensuring mandated notification procedures are followed for applications for air permits and solid waste licences; updating non-road diesel engines emission regulation records; explaining Metro Vancouver’s role and regulatory authority to businesses and members of the public.
You are: A science technologist with an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in protecting the environment.
